[ARCHIVED] Please Pick Up After Your Dog

Avoid the temptation to leave pet waste behind in the snow as you walk your dog in winter…

Fresh snow does a good job at covering the landscape and making it look pristine. There can be a temptation to leave your dog droppings behind as you go on winter walks. The problem is snow melts and what you leave behind during the winter can become a disgusting mess in the spring. Pet waste contains phosphorus, bacteria, and viruses that can be harmful to human health and the environment. So, we ask and encourage you to please pick up after your pet.
