Most of the parks in Apple Valley are equipped with picnic tables and small barbecue grills to accommodate small picnic groups. These facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they are reserved. For more information and to reserve picnic facilities for your group, please visit the park shelter reservation website to set up an account and make the reservation. Rental rates for these facilities will apply and some facilities require a damage deposit, in addition to the rental fee.
Chuckwagon Barbecue
Cook up to 100 hamburgers at one time on the 24-by-72-inch cooking surface of the Parks and Recreation Department's portable barbecue grill. The grill is available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis within any City of Apple Valley park. Daily rental fees and a damage deposit required.
