The Community Center’s facilities are available for rental at reasonable
rates by the general public during non-programmed times. Reserve the
AVCC for arts and craft shows, athletic tournaments, meetings or banquets,
etc. Reservations must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the reservation
date. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
Balance due 10 days prior to usage. For rental information contact

The Redwood Community Center is a recreational facility operated by
the Parks and Recreation Department. The community center can handle
groups of up to 120 people, and is available for rental for meetings,
wedding receptions, parties, etc., at very reasonable rates. For rental

Picnic Sites:
Most of the parks in Apple Valley are equipped with picnic tables and
small barbecue grills to accommodate small picnic groups. These facilities
are available on a first come-first serve basis, unless they are reserved.

Park is a heavily wooded 85-acre park with
lake frontage. It has canoe launch access and nature trails throughout.
Additional amenities include a picnic shelter, washroom facilities,
an outdoor volleyball court and play equipment. Park

Farquar
Park is a well groomed 11-acre park with
lake frontage and canoe launch access. It has three new picnic shelters,
washroom facilities, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, play equipment

Park is a 12-acre park catering to active
picnic groups. It has an outdoor pool, community center, volleyball,
softball, tennis, horseshoe pits, fitness and play equipment. Park

rental rates for these facilities vary from $40 to $60 per day. Some facilities
require a $50 damage deposit, in addition to the rental fee.
Picnic
Game Rental:
A variety of picnic games are available for rent through the Parks
and Recreation Department. Equipment can be reserved on a first
come-first serve basis by calling (952) 953-2300. Resident rates
are $5 per day per game, and non-resident rates are $10 per day
per game. $25 damage deposit required.

"Chuckwagon" Barbecue
Cook up to 100 hamburgers at one time on the 24" x 72" cooking
surface of the Parks and Recreation portable barbecue grill.
Available for rent on a first come-first serve basis within any City
of Apple Valley park for your family/group picnic. The rental fee is
just $20 per day plus a $25 damage deposit. Call (952) 953-2300

Johnny Cake Ridge
Park Softball Tournaments
The softball complex is available to rent for weekend softball
tournaments during the months of May through September. A
$100.00 deposit is required to confirm the tournament reservation.
Balance of rental fees are due 10 days prior to usage. For rental
