Athletics
& Leagues The City of Apple Valley provides seasonal opportunities for adult basketball leagues; golf leagues; hockey leagues; competitive and recreational co-rec kickball leagues; softball leagues; competitive and recreational women’s, men’s and co-rec volleyball leagues; and co-rec and men’s recreational wiffleball leagues. In most cases, players can register as an entire team, or can sign up on the “Draft List” for players looking to sub or to join an existing team. In addition, some recreational leagues are offered through the South of the River Recreators (SORR). These include kickball and the ground pounders running series.
