Area Schools
Apple Valley is primarily served by Independent School District (ISD) 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan). Located in the city are six elementary schools, three middle schools, and two senior high schools, and the School of Environmental Studies (SES). A small portion of the city, in the northwestern corner, is in ISD 191 (Burnsville-Eagan-Savage). Apple Valley is also served by a K-8 charter school, the Paideia Academy.
