Zoning and Permits
The zoning ordinance regulates how property owners can use their land within the City of Apple Valley to ensure public health, safety, and general welfare in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. It also includes regulations for lighting, parking, signage, landscaping, and natural features, including shoreland and wetlands. Changes to the zoning ordinance text or map require Planning Commission review and City Council approval.
