The City of Apple Valley adopted a rental registration ordinance to help ensure through relationship and education that rental housing in the City is decent, safe, and sanitary and is operated and maintained as not to become a nuisance to the neighborhood or to become an influence that fosters blight and deterioration or creates a disincentive to reinvest in the community. A residential rental property owner or rental manager shall register all residential rental properties with the City of Apple Valley.
