Adaptive Recreation
Programs designed for physically
and mentally challenged children, ages 12-18 years, ranging from movie
nights to paint and skate events. The Adaptive Recreation events are open
to any youth through high school who are mentally or physically challenged.
Pre-registration is required for each event and is taken at the Apple
Valley Community Center, 14603 Hayes Road. Please contact the Apple Valley
Parks and Recreation Department at 952-953-2300 if you would like more
information or would like to volunteer to assist with these events. Seasonal

Adult Athletic Leagues
For adults 18 years or older,
the City of Apple Valley provides
seasonal opportunities for adult basketball
leagues; golf leagues; competitive
and recreational co-rec kickball
leagues; softball leagues;
competitive and recreational womens, mens and co-rec volleyball
leagues; and co-rec and mens recreational wiffleball
leagues. In most cases, players can register as an entire team, or
can sign up on the Draft List for players looking to sub or
to join an existing team. For
