Running Race Series
Registration, Schedules & Standings

The City of Apple Valley in conjunction with the South of the River Recreators (SORR) provides opportunities for a co-rec running race series in the summer. Runners, walkers, kids and everyone else can get in on the fun! A variety of lengths, scenery, prizes and events offer a chance for everyone to get involved. Competitors race for the chance at top placement and collect points towards the Running Series season-ending awards. Anderson Race Management tabulates all race results, which are available immediately following each race.

The Groundpounders Grand Prix is a series of 7 prestigious runs
sponsored by the South of the River Recreators (SORR)
Communities of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington,
Lakeville, Prior Lake, Rosemount and Savage. Runners may
participate in as many races as they choose. Points are awarded
for each race, with awards given to the top finishers at the end of
the season. Open to all ages.
