Lebanon Cemetery of Apple Valley
Located at the corners of Pilot Knob Road and County Road 42, the City of Apple Valley owns and operates the ten-acre Lebanon Cemetery of Apple Valley. Development & Lot Sale Phasing Plan Cremation Options Lebanon Cemetery of Apple Valley offers four alternatives for interring cremated remains, or cremains. First, cremains may be interred solely or beside one or two other burials within a single traditional grave lot. Second, cremains may be interred within a cremation grave lot. Marker and monument privileged lots are available in both traditional and cremation grave lots. The third option Lebanon Cemetery offers is a single or double niche within our columbarium. A columbarium is an above-ground structure designed for the specific purpose of interring cremated remains. A bronze plaque adorned with a wreath emblem and embossed with the deceased's name and dates of birth and death is placed on the front of the niche space. The fourth alternative is a cremation boulder. The granite boulder can have one or two receptacles to contain cremated remains. Each receptacle has a bronze cover embossed with the deceased's name and dates of birth and death. An optional emblem or portrait may be added to the cover. The boulders will be placed in an area of the cemetery prepared specifically for them. For more information, please call (952) 953-2500, or e-mail pubworks@ci.apple-valley.mn.us.
