For Immediate Release: Garden View Drive Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Traffic Finalizing Proposal After nearly four months of meetings and a very successful open house, the Garden View Drive Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on Traffic is finalizing a proposal for traffic calming along the Garden View Drive corridor in Apple Valley. The proposal includes designs for physical changes to Garden View Drive, identification of the need for traffic calming on Garden View Drive and adjacent streets and a plan for involving residents of those streets affected by the alignment of Highview Avenue in Lakeville with Garden View Drive. Some of the affected streets are Harwell Ave., Harmony Way, 157th St. and Whitney Drive. The committee plans to present their proposal to the city council at the October 26th meeting.
