Formed as a statutory city, Apple Valley has four City Council members and a Mayor. The City Council is the legislative and policy making body for the City government. The Mayor and four City Council members are elected at large to alternating four-year terms. Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 8 P.M. Informal meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 P.M. prior to Regular meetings. Meetings are broadcast live and replayed on Government Access Channel 16. Meetings are held at the Apple Valley Municipal Center, 7100 West 147th Street. For more information, please call (952) 953-2500.
