Formed as a statutory city, Apple Valley has four City Council members and a Mayor. The City Council is the legislative and policy making body for the City government. The Mayor and four City Council members are elected at large to alternating four-year terms. If you wish to e-mail Council Members, please note that they do not have direct access to e-mail. However, we have set up a special e-mail address for you to use. We will forward copies of the e-mail to the appropriate council member for their response. Meeting Information Meetings are held at the Apple Valley Municipal Center, 7100 West 147th Street. For more information, please call (952) 953-2500. Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 8 P.M. Informal meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 P.M. prior to Regular meetings. Meetings are cablecast live and replayed on Channel 16. The City provides live audio and video streaming of regular City Council meetings.
